this is something to comment about the new logo for the 2014 winter Olympic games in Sochi Russia. Theres a great article from B&A magazine here http://www.mcwade.com/DesignTalk/ whether the logo works or...not.
My two cents is it does it for me!

You would not want to see me right now. I was wrapping up but came across crucial information to aid all of us artists looking for a community locally to persist and stay at home as Digital Artists/designers.
Am not sure how and if these groups are related. Check out their sites
My radar must be broken, I have missed crucial events on the calendar namely: Genesis; Animated Film Screenings 15th August 2009 and Lola Kenya Screen Wednesday, 15th of April 2009.
I am trying to make up for it by registering...stat-like.
Also broken are my toothpicks.

My buddy thinks its the onset of perimenopause or the 40-ish syndrome. She got a tatoo while on holiday and I want one too, maybe theres a point to all the hormonal imbalances. However its always been on my agenda, along with bikini bod.
Check this ink artist out, you have to log on to facebook to see the pictures. I went window shopping and decided tribal art=nguye with geographical positioning coordinate twist.
Open graphic design has these on offer. The swirls are fantastic. What is it about tattooing that just gets people going? Branding their bodies? It gets addictive and then before you know it 50% of your body is covered by artwork, thank God for laser eraser treatment.
Both these central swirls below were taken from open graphic design.com.
By the way the tweeting will be as a result of collateral damage, once I get queries about the ink on the upper arm.
The swirls are Gods creative force which in turn generates gps location coordinates, my two children.

Take stock and just come sweep with a big broom. This article clear in asking for and I quote "oomph...creativity...and appeal" in one of the countrys greatest pasttimes soccer. Refreshing. We designers could do with more of this candour.

I watch Top Gear sporadically, when I do I enjoy the antics of the presenters, the graphics, the camera work ...they have a feature with a 'cool/not cool' board rating the styling of models of cars. I like.
So this is my coolness board category, architecture, interiors, landscaping, design you get the picture. We need to up our game people, Africans are now well travelled folk traipsing around the globe even settling down to contribute and enjoy the environs and vibes of these cities. We know the good places, we probably should go a step further and make home luscious bicycle lanes, planting trees, not throwing trash, painting our front gate, refusing to accept poor signage and transform our environs to be clean, habitable, inviting cities.
Still lost? Let the pictures tell the story
by Tectura Botswana in Francistown this technical college is a delight. The space, usability, access to departments, the planning all stellar.
my have I got beef with this one! This is a music genius site does not equal status. Listen to the hits he's created. Those twinkling stars must go. The music will last forever.
